Human trafficking is one of these deeply somber, heartbreaking concerns that demand our attention. It's a global tragedy, and while it may be difficult to acknowledge, we must confront it head-on.

Recently, Smart Training has developed a new training course for healthcare professionals titled “Human Trafficking Prevention for Healthcare Providers”. It's not the kind of course that sparks excitement or enthusiasm; rather, it's a stark reminder of the sobering reality that countless individuals are ensnared in this heinous crime and that as healthcare providers, we have the ability to recognize potential instances of trafficking and actually do something about it.
